Pop Out

How Pop Out works

  • On your turn you may drop a disc as normal, or pop one of your OWN discs out of the bottom row.
  • When you pop, every disc in that column slides down one place. That can complete a line anywhere in the column, so look before you pop.
  • A pop that completes a line for you wins. A pop that only completes your opponent's line loses on the spot, which makes some tempting pops traps.
  • The board never truly fills, because pops keep reopening it. Games that go nowhere are drawn at 150 moves.

Every Pop Out game is rated in its own ELO pool, so this ladder is separate from Classic. You can also practise against the computer or see the ladder.
